DIRECTOR

Alex joined CAPE Fund in June 2006, initially as a consultant to help with fundraising, structuring and initial review of potential investments and as Director since the official inception of the Fund in November 2008. In this capacity, Alex will be responsible for the review of potential investments, the structuring of the transactions and the monitoring of CAPE Fund's portfolio companies.

Prior to joining CAPE Fund, Alex worked at Merrill Lynch Canada and BMO Nesbitt Burns in investment banking where he was involved in numerous public equity and debt financings for clients such as Mega Brands, The Blackstone Group and CNR as well as several mergers and acquisitions transactions.

Alex holds an M.B.A. from the Richard Ivey School of Business from the University of Western Ontario and a Bachelor of Commerce in finance and accounting from McGill university where he graduated with Great Distinction. Alex and his wife Martine have two sons.
